Happy International Volunteer Day – 5th December 2018

The International Volunteer Day was established on 5th December, by the UN General Assembly held in 1985.

This celebration offers an important opportunity to all organizations active in the volunteering field, to encourage governments to support volunteer efforts and recognize volunteer contributions to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local, national and international levels.

Through our short-term projects the Alliance contributes to the development of young active citizens, practicing values such as solidarity, tolerance, inclusion, gender equality and environmental sustainability, and to the development of democratic and resilient community!
