Former Alliance Campaigns
Over the past years, the Alliance ran different campaigns. Learn more about them!
- Accessing campaign A Campaign aimed at raising awareness, encouraging and supporting IVS organisations to contribute to social inclusion, inviting them to reserve places in their workcamps for volunteers with fewer opportunities.
- MY World campaign in Alliance workcamps A unique opportunity for the grassroots IVS movement to make its voices heard for the next World Development Agenda.
- Alliance visibility campaigns Since 2011, the External Relations Committee has implemented several annual campaigns or initiatives to enhance the visibility of the Alliance network among young people worldwide and to promote its principles and practices: volunteering, participation, mobility, social inclusion, non-formal education.
- Environmental Sustainability campaigns
The former campaigns connected to the theme of environmental sustainability and previously active within the Alliance were:
- Common action 2017: 1Table4All. The action is currently at its second edition: check here! An Alliance common action promoting social inclusion, gender equality and sustainability by means of community dinners. It was initiated relating to the Alliance theme of the year “migration.”
- Common action 2016: Let’s Root for Peace! IVS organisations take position in favour of soil protection and migrants’ rights to build their future in a safe place.
- Common action 2015: Cook 4 Climate Day A common action to raise awareness about the connection between food, energy and sustainability.
- Common action 2014: Energy Free Day A common action to increase awareness among volunteers and local communities about saving energy and its positive impact on local and international levels.
- People4Soil initiative In 2015, The Alliance decided to join the international campaign People4Soil which aimed to advocate for the protection of the most important natural resources of the planet, soil. The campaign ran from September 2016 to September 2017.
