I’VE system is online!

I'VE system is the result of two years of cooperation between Lunaria, the Alliance, 11 member IVS organisations and two research institutes. It is the first ever existing methodology to assess and recognize competences developed by volunteers in workcamps, through nonformal education, peer learning and open source IT tools (mobile app).

The methodology can be implemented fully within a 1-day Post Camp Event and can be adapted to different groups and needs. The overall system is composed of:

• The Tool Kit – it is addressed to the facilitators and it details the different sessions of an I'VE Post Camp Event (activities description, resources, ready-to-print materials, etc.)
• The Users’ Guide – it gives relevant preparatory information and material for the volunteers before the PCE
• The Handbook for Facilitators – it serves for the preparation of the PCE facilitator with background information and tips
• The APP and the Management tool – these ICT outputs are able to produce automatically the Certificates of Competences Recognition and to run some of the Post Camp Event modules. The system smoothly work also on “paper version”, for those not interested in the Certificates fast editing.

After the piloting phase on Autumn 2015, these materials have been revised and improved, and they can be now downloaded from the project website: www.ive-experienced.eu/the-system-outputs.

All I'VE materials are free: any interested IVS organisations are welcome to use them and adopt I'VE system with their outgoing volunteers at the end of the season. The project is supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
