Alliance Study Session “WE too: Workcamp Equality too!

What was a week at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg  through insightful discussions and hands-on sessions, the Alliance Study Session "WE too: Workcamp Equality too!" explored how to foster equality and ensure safer spaces.

But the journey toward true inclusion isn’t without challenges - many LGBTQIA+ volunteers still face barriers, from unconscious bias to a lack of safe environments in some projects. Addressing these issues takes continuous learning, open dialogue, and a commitment to real change.

A huge thank you to everyone, especially to European Youth Foundation and the Council of Europe Youth - this is just the beginning of making international volunteering more inclusive for all, and part of Alliance's Gender Diversity and LGBTQIA+ Topic of the Year!
