WEAREAWELCOMINGEUROPE is an international civic society initiative aiming at changing the European legislative approach towards migrants and asylum seekers.
Indeed recent regulations criminalize people helping migrants without documents.

The initiative entails a petition aimed at asking the European Commission to ban the criminalization of solidarity in EU member states; support European citizens who want to offer safety to people fleeing persecution and guarantee effective access to justice to all victims of exploitation and abuse.
